If you are primarily interested in the golf course, it’s discussed Pelican Marsh and its 18 hole par 72 award-winning golf course. Here are some Golf course information in Pelican Marsh Naples.
The Pelican Marsh Golf Course
Located within this gated community, a place where many affluent people live, you can get access to this beautiful golf course. There are only 385 members allowed, with most of them taken up, but you may be able to purchase one as time passes. Membership is $45,000 plus annual membership dues. You will also get access to a 25,000 square foot clubhouse. This particular golf course was designed by Robert von Hagge and has recently gone through a $4 million renovation. It has rolling lush fairways, towering oak trees line the sides, and there are flowering marshes in all directions. There are waterfalls, rock formations, and it’s part of the Cocohatchee Strand natural preserve allowing you to see the natural wildlife that flies in.
Why Is This Golf Course Popular?
The popularity of this golf course has a lot to do with it being featured in Golf Inc. Magazine. This happened back in 2013 when they are awarded it the best renovation of the year award, and part of that has to do with its ability to blend perfectly with its natural surroundings. The Audubon Society certified sanctuary is part of this course. Many professional golf tournaments have been played here. There will be professional PGA staff members to help with any questions that you may have, plus you can do group or private golf lessons. The course itself is very challenging, and its notoriety makes it a highly coveted golf course to play on. That’s why most of the memberships are gone, but if you can get one, you will enjoy this beautiful golf course.
Should You Consider Moving There?
If you already live in a golfing community, it may not be necessary to relocate. As long as you can get a membership to play golf at Pelican Marsh, that’s probably all you need to do. However, during playing golf, you might fall in love with the natural surroundings. You may see some of the homes that are available, and you may want to live there. Single-family homes can be purchased for just over $600,000, and condominiums start at $300,000. Of course, like many of the upscale golf resorts, they have properties that are $10 million or more. There is a high probability that you may be able to find a home that comes available. There are almost 2000 homes at this location. One of them is going to be exactly what you need, at a price that will work with your budget. Whether you are relocating, or you are just thinking about it, definitely talk to a realtor or real estate marketing firm to see what is available.
If you do decide to consider the option of moving to this community, you should start talking to realtors. You never know what is going to come up, and if a property has been listed for several months without a single offer, the sellers may become desperate. It’s always a good way to get an excellent deal on properties that are available when speaking with sellers that need to sell fast. By putting in offers every day on one of the many properties that may be available, you can become part of this community. Find out more about the property and the membership if you want to become part of Pelican Marsh. It’s a beautiful community with an outstanding award-winning golf course that you will love to play with family and friends.
