Overall Conference CEs
TAHSA has requested CE credit for the following health care professionals for attendance at the educational, general, and break-out sessions:
10 NAB hours for administrators;
10 Hours Type I credit for nurses;
10 Hours for registered dietitians, dietary managers, activity directors, assisted living managers, and service coordinators; and
1.0 CEUs for social workers.

Break-out Session CEs
In accordance with the requirements of the sponsorship agreements between EIA and the various educational boards, each break-out session is 2 hours, which allows:
2 NAB hours for administrators;
2 Hours Type I credit for nurses;
0.2 CEUs for social workers;
2 contact hours for activity directors and dietary staff;
2 hours assisted living managers and service coordinators;

Both the opening and closing general sessions will allow 1 hour credit for each discipline.

PreConference Seminar - 3 hours for each Seminar
3 Hours NAB credit for Administrators;
3 Hours Type I credit for nurses
3 Hours requested for activity directors, assisted living managers, dietary managers, registered dietitians, and service coordinators.
0.3 CEUs for social workers.

The Educational Institute on Aging (EIA) is approved as a provider of continuing education by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

This activity meets Type I criteria for mandatory continuing education requirements toward relicensure as established by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas.
