Administrator - Dalhart, TX: Coon Memorial Home in Dalhart is accepting resumes for the position of administrator for an 81 bed long-term care facility.  The facility is affiliated with the Dallam-Hartley Counties Hospital District which includes a hospital, nursing facility, assisted living, home health, hospice, and occupational medicine.  Duties include, but are not limited to: directing and coordinating the daily activities of the nursing facility, assisting the CEO in planning and overall direction of the Hospital and nursing facility, and providing direct non-clinical leadership and management to facility operations.  Two or more years experience in long-term care as well as licensure in the State of Texas as an administrator is required.  For more information, contact Larry White, Interim Administrator at (806) 244-9318 or fax resumes to (806) 244-1018.

Director of Assisted Living and Memory Care - Boerne, TX: (Morningside Ministries) The Director of Assisted Living and Memory Care is responsible for ensuring the general well-being of residents through the delivery of high quality services in a manner that is consistent with the philosophy of Assisted Living and that complies with applicable state laws and regulations. Qualifications: 1) Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing or nursing education.  Current registration with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.  2) Training and Experience: Must possess high degree of interpersonal relations skills and capability of relating to a variety of people and personalities.  Considerable initiative, judgment, and leadership skills are also required.  3) Certification/Licenses: LVN/RN - Licensed by Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners.  Performance Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): 1) Hires, train s, supervise, motivate, and evalu ate staff to ensure the provision of high quality services to residents in a manner that is consistent with the philosophy of assisted living, 2) Plans and delegates work assignments assuring scheduling on a 24-hour basis, 3) Provides case management services to residents, 4) Coordinates move-in and orients new residents to the facility, ensuring satisfactory integration into the facility/community, 5) Investigates resident and employee incidents, identifies safety hazards, and institutes corrective action in a timely manner, 6) Monitors resident service plans, records information to determine quality of service to residents, and directs staff to implement needed change, 7) Monitors and maintains records reflecting residents' physical and mental condition.  Reports significant changes in a resident's condition to his or her physician, 8) Documents resident incidents, 9) Coordinates wellness clinic activities, 10) Support and participates in the resident-centered acti vity program, 11) Orients new staf f.  Develops in-service training and provides ongoing training of staff in order to provide high quality service consistent with the philosophy of assisted living, 12) Promotes and facilitates interactive problem solving with staff.  Please email resume to rectruiter@morningsidemin.org for consideration.

Executive Director - Dallas, TX: Grace Presbyterian Village is currently seeking an Executive Director to join our dynamic team.  This person will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations at Grace. Responsibilities include: 1) Plan, develop, implement, direct, and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance, 2) Plan, develop, organize, and implement marketing program that ensures facility attains or exceeds occupancy projections, 3) Participate in the development of the facility's plans and programs as a strategic partner, 4) Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action, 5) Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organizations by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation, 6) Ensure campus compliance of all State and Federal regulations, 7) Build and maintain an effective team of departments to ensure and facilitate efficient day-to-day operations. Qualifications: Bachelors in Business or Healthcare Administration (preferred), Valid Texas Nursing Facility Administration license (preferred), five or more years experience in LTC Administration, demonstrated leadership and motivational skills, ability to problem solve and initiate action independently and/or with minimal direction or supervision, genuine caring for and interest in the care of mature adults, handicapped people, and hospice patients.
